West Chester, Pa.—January 8, 2018— Venture Insurance Programs, a national insurance program administrator, today announced the promotion of Brian Rawlings to practice leader for FITLIFE™, Venture’s new fitness, wellness and spa program.
Rawlings joined Venture in August as a senior underwriter for FITLIFE. In his new role, he will be responsible for generating and building strategic relationships with agents and brokers across the fitness, wellness and spa space as he promotes the new program’s coverage options and services.
“Brian has quickly demonstrated his knowledge and experience in the insurance and fitness space, as well as his ability to lead,” said Philip J. Harvey, Venture president and founder. “His expertise in both fitness and insurance has been paramount as we have watched the new FITLIFE program take off. We look forward to seeing how he shapes and grows the program in the years to come.”
FITLIFE provides a variety of insurance products and services for health clubs, tennis/racquet clubs, athletic clubs, gyms, dance studios, destination and day spas, aerobics, mind-body, Pilates, fitness franchise operations and other niche fitness studios.
Rawlings came to Venture from the Cincinnati Insurance Company in Fairfield, Ohio, where he worked as national program director for their fitness program. His strong background in insurance and fitness is also rooted in his tenure as center and family life director for the YMCA of Greater Cincinnati and as community center director for the Cincinnati Recreation Commission.
Rawlings has a bachelor’s degree in sports organization from Miami University in Ohio.
